THE DIABETIC DIET
Kitty diabetes is remarkably similar in its symptoms and treatments as human diabetes. The signs of diabetes can include excessive thirst and urination, and a loss of weight despite an increase in appetite in the early stages. If you notice these symptoms, don't ignore them. Make a veterinary appointment immediately.
You may have to give your cat insulin injections if he's diabetic. Don't worry; insulin needles are very small and most cats are extremely tolerant of the procedure. Your vet will also provide strict dietary guidelines and measures to take in case your cat has an insulin overdose.
