SOMETHING HAS GONE WRONG
Honor isn't about making the right choices. It's about dealing with the consequences. - Midori Koto
You have a hard decision to make. You took an action at work that really messed things up. No one knows you did it, and you do feel terrible about it. Do you tell anyone? Well, is anyone else going to be blamed or harmed because of what you did? If so, shouldn't you 'fess up? Otherwise someone else will take the blame for your action. Would you like that to happen to you? To be blamed for something someone else messed up? An honorable person faces their errors straight on, knowing that there are consequences for every action. My mother used to say, if you spilled the milk, you clean it up. In a very simple way, she was teaching me how to deal with my own responsibilities, actions and consequences.
