It's very hard to try to act with integrity when you see that so many people get so far ahead of you while acting like jerks. I know a woman who took a demotion at her workplace rather than work with a woman who had lied about her. The funny thing was, the woman who took the demotion was so happy, but the woman who had lied, and gotten a promotion out of it, continued to be involved in trouble. Isn't it worth more to be genuinely happy?
