PICTURE PERFECT

Got great photos you would love to display, but don't have any idea where to start? Don't fear! You can attractively show off some of your favorite photos without too much trouble.

First, pare down the pile to your favorite pics, grouping them by theme, such as great vacations, family reunions, school snaps. Then, choose one color common to all the photos and use that as your mat choice. (Make sure that the color of the mat doesn't clash with your room's interior. Also, staying with medium or pale mat tones helps accentuate each photo while creating a smooth color flow.) You can also use different shades of that one color for each mat for a better match with each particular photo (for example, use four shades of medium green for your mat choice). Finish off by framing each picture in the same size frame and hang in a prominent place of honor.
