ONLINE SUPPORT FOR POSTPARTUM DEPRESSION

The next several tips cover varying aspects of depression and how to tell if you are depressed. Today's tip is about postpartum depression.

If you've recently had a baby and suffer from postpartum depression (PPD), you probably don't have the energy or the inclination to go out and join a support group. However, you can achieve similar benefits from home in front of your computer. There are a number of online message boards (like the one linked below) that offer support and advice to PPD sufferers.

Don't feel like you have to join in if you're not ready. Just hang out and read for a while. It can make you feel better just knowing there are other women in your same situation.  (LINK)
